  • How late are the branches open?
    BTCU branches are open Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm. 

    Our Member Service Center can help you over the phone. Simply call 763.315.3888. Our phone center is open Monday - Friday from 7am - 7pm and on Saturdays from 7am - 4pm.
  • How do I change my address?
    To change the address, phone number or email address on your account, login to Online Banking and click on "Info Center" and "Personal Information" to update your information. You can also download the Change of Address form and return it to us in the mail.

  • What is the routing number for BTCU?
    BTCU's routing number is 291074719.
  • Where can I find a free ATM?
    With your Debit Card, you can get cash at more thn 23,000 MoneyPass ATMs, surcharge-free, nationwide. To find a MoneyPass ATM near you, click here.
  • Where can I find my checking account number?
    Your checking account number is 14-digits. It can found on the bottom of your checks. If you do not have checks, please contact us at 763-315-3888 with your member number (located on your statements) and we will give you your 14-digit number.
  • How do I order / reorder checks?
    If this is the first time ordering checks, please contact us at 763.315.3888. If you would like to reorder checks online, click here.
  • What is an ACH transaction?
    An ACH transaction is any item that posts to a checking account which was initiated by the member providing their account and routing number electronically. Examples: Insurance Premiums, Cell Phone payments, Utility payments.

  • I lost my Debit Card. How do I get a new one?
    To report a lost or stolen Debit Card, please call 1.800.528.2273 immediately. After hours support is available by calling 1.800.851.4859.
  • What is Pocket the Change?
    Pocket the Change lets you save effortlessly. It's a free program that you can add to your BTCU Visa Debit. Purchases are rounded up to the nearest dollar and the difference is deposited from your checking to your savings account. 

    We aggregate the round-up from each Debit Card purchases that posts to your checking account each business day and make a single transfer (called Pocket the Change transfer) to your savings account at the end of the business day. If on any business day you do not have sufficient available funds in your checking account, or if any transaction has overdrawn your checking account, we do not round-up purchases posted on that business day and we cancel the Pocket the Change transfer for that day.

  • How do I enroll in Online Banking?
    To get immediate access to your account, simply select "Online Banking & Bill Pay" from the drop-down menu under "Access Your Accounts" - which is located in the top right corner of your screen. Then click "Enroll."

    Your Username is your member number. Your temporary password is the last four-digits of your SSN. 

    If your temporary password has expired, please contact us at 763.315.3888 to reset it. 
  • How do I view my e-Statements?
    To view your e-Statement, please login to Online Banking here and click on the "e-Statements" link. You will then be able to view, print and save your statements.

  • How can I make my loan payment?
    There are many ways you can make your loan payment.

    The fastest and easiest way to make your loan payment is through Online Banking. You can transfer money from your BTCU Checking or Savings account directly to your loan. You can do this every month or simply setup an automatic recurring transfer. 
  • Can I refinance my loan from another bank?
