Since our redesigned website has been introduced, we’ve received some questions from our members having difficulty trying to access our Online Banking link from the Account Login pull down menu. We regret any inconvenience caused by the change. Our webmaster is also aware of these issues and offers these suggestions to our members who may be affected by the change.
Our website works best when viewed through one of three popular internet browsers. Learn more about these specific browsers by clicking on our About Site page.
When our website was updated your browser may not recognize the Online Banking login page as a ‘safe’ page and sees it instead as a pop-up, which many internet users block for security purposes. By allowing our Online Banking login page as a popup, you should be able to login as usual.
Most of our members use Internet Explorer versions 5, 6 or 7 as their internet browser. If you use this browser and click on the ‘Online Banking’ login in the ‘Account Login’ pull down menu and nothing happens, it is likely a pop-up or java script issue. To resolve a pop-up issue, click on:
> Tools
> Internet Options
> Privacy
> Pop-Up Blocker – Settings
Under “Notifications” on this same page, put a checkmark in “Show information bar when a pop-up is blocked.” With this option enabled, Internet Explorer will notify you whenever a website you’re trying to access is blocked so that you can add it to your “Allowed” list if you want.
Another option is to hold down the ‘ctrl’ key when clicking on the online banking log in which would override the pop-up blocker and allow you to access the log in page.
If it is a java script issue, the problem may be you do not have java script enabled. Enable java script by going to the browser tools settings on your web browser and enabling java script.
Our website may have been mistakenly added to the “Blocked Sites” list in Internet Explorer. To resolve this, in Internet Explorer, click on:
> Tools
> Internet Options
> Privacy
> Sites
If www.mbtfcu.com or www.billpaysite.com are listed as “Blocked,” highlight those items and click “Remove.” This will unblock our websites and make them accessible again.
For your convenience, we have also added text links to our home page for our Online Banking and Bill Pay, and Business Bill Pay login pages. If you prefer, you can also use these links to access our Online Banking and Bill Pay login pages.
Thank you for your patience as we transition to the redesigned website. We hope you’ll visit often and keep informed of all the services and benefits available to you as a member of MBTFCU.
